Greetings ECE families,
A few announcements and reminders:
Harvest Hoopla Recap
First I would like to say a big Thank You to everyone who came out to the Harvest Hoopla to support Efland-Cheeks Friday night. From the raffles, bounce houses, and games, to throwing cream pies at teachers, the night was a lot of fun and a great success. Also, thank you to all the parents, teachers, and staff who volunteered their time to help make our biggest event run smoothly. We are lucky to have such caring and dedicated people associated with our school. I would like to thank one person in particular, Becky Barnett, who in addition to being on several PTA committees has organized the fall fundraiser for several years. Becky's knowledge and leadership is what has allowed this event to be so successful year after year.
Box Tops for Education Deadline
Our first big Box Top collection is here! Please send in your trimmed box tops starting Monday, Oct. 22nd. They must be turned in by Thursday, October 25th! Please trim each box top and place them in a zip-top bag. Make sure your child’s name is clearly marked on the bag---this is how we keep track of how many you send in. Then send them to school. Our Box Tops Coordinators will count and organize them to send to General Mills. In return, they will send us a check! In order to qualify to win the custom made ECE basketball goal, you must send in at least 30 box tops. The child with the MOST, wins! Contact Michelle Weeks with questions kmweeks94@centurylink.net
