New Hope PTSA loves volunteers!
Why volunteer?
Research shows conclusive results: students whose parents are actively involved in their education do better at school regardless of their family income or background. Specifically, students with involved parents have greater academic success, better attitudes about school, and fewer behavioral problems.How do I become a PTSA volunteer?
- Choose an activity that you are interested in by viewing the PTSA brochure.
- Fill out a New Hope volunteer form and send in to school or attend a PTSA meeting.
- Fill out and submit and Orange County Schools volunteer registration form. This is required for all people who wish to volunteer (including PTSA events.)
Because student safety is of great concern, our volunteers are required to fill out a volunteer registration form which includes information for a background check. Once we process your registration form, the school will be notified of your availability to volunteer. You can download the volunteer application below.
