This group consists of the top 10% of both the Junior and Senior Classes. This National Beta Club is the nation's largest independant, educational, non-profit, youth organization. Our purpose is to encourage and reward academic achievement, and to promote these qualities of character that make for good citizenship.

This school year our club has had several guest speakers:
Our School Counselors: Mrs. Ward and Mrs. Cabinas spoke to the students about preparing for higher education
Mr. Cox, Mr. Sprintz, and Mr. Assael spoke to the students about cheating/plagerism
Jaycee Greenblatt - from Habitat for Humanity in Orange County to speak with the group about the habitat program here in our County.
Service Projects for 2010/2011 school year:
Raising money for the Habitat for Humanity House here in Orange County
Worked at the Durham Rescue Mission Store over the Christmas Holiday
Collecting Pop-top Tabs for the Ronald McDonald House
House chores on May 26th at the Ronald McDonald House
Sponsored a student here at Orange High School for Christmas
