Orange High School's Interact Club
“Service Above Self”
The OHS Interact Club donated $100 to the OHS Habitat for Humanity Club. Monies were raised during our February fundraiser "I Have a Crush on You. Students sent their "Crush" an orange crush soda with a personal message for Valentine's Day.
The Interact Club is a service-oriented group open to all students at Orange High. Interactors strive to learn the importance of:
- Developing leadership skills and personal integrity
- Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others
- Understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work
- Advancing international understanding and goodwill
Each year it completes many service projects that benefit the school, community, and world. Past service projects include quarterly Adopt-a-Highway trash pick-up on Orange High School Road, adopting a child for Christmas gifts, the annual "Kiss the Goat" fundraiser, the "Dollars for Doors" fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity, working at the Rotary Club's pancake dinner to raise funds for scholarships, painting picnic tables on the OHS patio, selling Crush Cans for Valentine's Day, and more.
