We appreciate your interest in the Transportation Department of Orange County Schools. Our goal is to continue to improve our communications with parents in order to better serve the transportation needs of the school district. Our drivers, mechanics, dispatchers, and office support personnel all strive to provide outstanding customer service to the parents and students of our school district. Transportation Department Overview
Each day, more than 2800 students ride a school bus operated by the Orange County Schools Transportation Department. Each year the district’s buses travel more than 1,132,668 miles. The Transportation Department employs 59 bus drivers, eight mechanics and six office staff.
The Transportation Department runs 70 regular bus routes each day. In addition, the district has additional activity buses that are also used to transport students to field trips and sporting events.
